my current low effort fun lunch i bring to work
I got in that time period of the year where I ended up eating out too much for lunch (oops).
Anyways, I bought some things to make an easily assembled bento to bring for lunch. I drew a little graphic since what I have packed is in my lunch box.

I really like "set meal" type of lunches and don't get tired of eating them. I thing a huge part is because you can change up the protein & sides easily.
This lunch is low effort because I'll air fry the shrimp tempura (thx costco) in the morning while I get dressed. Rice has already been made and the pickled veggies just needs to be added. I saw a video recently recommending the pre-made cryogenic frozen tamagoyaki which has been amazing for the prep.
I bought the premade tamagoyaki and pickled veggies from my local japanese grocery store (one of my fav local small businesses) - they also make fresh onigiri and their own bento boxes too.
I'm hungry for lunch!!
I put 3 of these in my lunch so I guess a 30 pack lasts for 10 lunches!
I like small batches of pickled veggies... easier to finish.
I divided this in 4 sets so I could defrost a little bit at a time.
