I'm here with a photo dump of Momo and Poppy!!
In case the timeline isn't clear - I adopted Momo (boy, short hair cat) and Poppy (girl, long hair cat) as kittens in 2019 when the foster mom and volunteer advised that it's easier to raise 2 kittens. They are correct. It's nice because Momo and Poppy already knew how to live with each other so I didn't have to worry about cat adjustment periods - also when I am out of town they don't have to be lonely.
They do have very distinct personalities which is very fun (and they take turns with being the annoying cat lol).
Poppy in particular will knock every little thing over. Stereotypically people humanize that behavior to comment that the cat is being an asshole LOL, but actually I think Poppy is just very curious and is exercising her hunting instinct.
Momo likes to sit on top (or walk all over) of my keyboard which is a challenge on WFH days.
Oh I also call them my loafs (purposely loafs and not loaves). They are a dilute orange which is very cream!! Also they were originally rescued from a hoarder house situation.
