my old blog posts
Hey, so I realized my blogger was still live so I went ahead and added them here (for now).
There’s no good way to look through my blog archives (except manually). I also added a posts tab with an archive of all my posts - I couldn’t find a plugin for this BUT also - there’s a good reminder I can always just use HTML. I don’t recommend reading those posts though since they’re very stream of consciousness type of blogs? I enjoyed seeing my old self though!
I’ve been uploading everything manually so most posts are text-only for now. I sure did a lot of art dump posts haha.
It’s so funny to see my weird and cringe posts but it was also a space I could just fully be WEIRD without randos being forced to see me on their feed. I think now people are a bit more self conscious about how they are perceived.
Some fun notes:
- I used to post blog comment replies at the end of my post.
- I have this post from January 2011 about my Lost Heir OCS!
- I made this post on February 1, 2011 about how I made a tumblr (which I think was the real catalyst of everything being rebloggable/resharable/etc).
- Apparently sisa sent me the city generator that I used for worldbuilding, haha!
- This post links a lot of the urban sketchers I used to like a lot.
- This post where I share that I’ve been reading Captive Prince (book 2)
- fantasyfroufrou / thenceforth / mackiemackie was my public facing artblog? I had livejournal too at the time so not sure why I had both HAHA.
- vivid planets was more in that lifestyle era of blogging and more “normie” art (I think).
- after that I was more active on tumblr/twt, and journalling
- cc - I think this was just hosted on my main site on WP - I was planning/prewriting posts so had them saved up.
