stationery mart + more
Earlier this week I discovered Bubbles and found that my blog is on there and tagged as a Life blog, lol! Anyways, I’m excited to find some more blogs to check out.
It always feels like when April hits, I’m suddenly so busy with events/things to do around town on the weekends.
I stopped by my friend’s birthday party for their 3 year old daughter. I actually wasn’t feeling too social (+ I don’t have kids) but went out anyways. The location was at a brewery, but one of the more family friendly ones (lots of food trucks, a playground, and a good amount of NA options).
I ended up just getting an iced latte because I always love a coffee treat.
I saw this box on the wall - apparently you can buy a postcard at the brewery and also get postage stamp to immediately mail it out.

More importantly I got my favorite thing, the cookies!! I snagged these for my sister (she was their friend first) since she couldn't attend.

I did think I was being smart by putting the cookies in my bag to carry around with me instead of leaving it in the car for the icing to melt... but instead I accidentally crushed the cookies haha.
I headed out early for my original plan: the Stationery Club meet-up (the same organizer that I've attended before). I spent my time catching up with adding photos and decorated pages in my journal. I now have 3 stickers in my attendance tracker.

The stationery shop that hosts the meetup also had a mini-mart going on that day. It was last minute shifted to an off-site location a short drive away due to rainy weather (originally the vendors would have been outside of the shop), so I wrapped things up early and popped over because my friend was vending there.

I tried to be very selective in what I bought - the mini mart was also hosting a stamp rally if you bought from every vendor (there was only about 10 vendors). I didn’t officially participate but I did ask for stamps in my journal since I like collecting them (they will go in today’s spread when I get around to it).
Here’s my purchases:

Stickers from Veronica Porlier.

Mini Blank Cards from Watercolor ATX.

Sticker sheet and plush from my friend, BusyLilGuy.

PVC Photo Card Holder from RainyViv.
And here are my collected stamps:

After that I went straight to a D&D session with my friends. Fun!!

I had to stop by my sister’s place after that to bring some stationery/photo/deco things since she was making a photo collage for her friend’s going away party (tomorrow).
I got home after a long, busy social day (I’m not sure how people do this!!) and ended up having a lazy dinner, ha ha ha.
And now I’ll leave this photo of my cats sniffing some bread.
