yay happy things
Fun things recently:

Rosemary seasonal coffee latte - TBH I reviewed my spending in January (A LOT OF FAILS!!) One thing that I was actually on budget for was my “fun” coffee allowance. I do usually splurge on a latte though when I could be getting a less expensive drink...
I got this seasonal coffee yesterday when I grabbed lunch with my coworkers - we went to a local coffee/beer/outdoor seating place that has local food truck options for lunch. We only eat together maybe once a week? Usually we bring lunch but that day we all had to buy lunch and someone was craving hotdogs.
Also - speaking of budget... I feel like I went through my entire stationery budget for a year last mohth (LOL) so I hope to do… no spend… use up all my stickers and washi… etc.

My washi tape “collection” has been pared down to my classiky box since I bought it in 2023 and has stayed that way. I have multiple brown grid washi tape that is in progress but I actually go through those pretty quickly since they are one of my main decoration pieces. For sticker storage I actually have an A5 binder with clear sleeves that I'm using as my sticker/ephemera catchall.

On Sunday I woke up feeling bad (from my period) and ended up sleeping a good portion of the day away because of the discomfort. It wasn't even painful - just a discomfort that wouldn't go away. I did manage to work on my MD journal later that day when I finally got up to eat and caught up for the week. January is complete!! Also I wrote with the kaweco :)

Here’s my cross stitch progress from a few days ago. Most of the white space you see just need to be filled with a single thread color - so no counting needed but I do still need to make sure I’m not skipping stitches lol.

Aaaaaand during my lunch I’m doing a combination of reading my rss feed (on Miniflux) and reading some ebooks I borrowed from the library. Currently reading Big Magic and Filterworld. I might enjoy reading more non-fiction type of books during my breaks and such since I can read them in small chunks (vs fiction where I’m more likely to dive deep into the world and want to read everything all at once!)
