moppy + cross stitch
Short post because I came across a blog written by someone that I just fundamentally don't like (the writing tone of) which got me a little irritated!! I wrote a post but then deleted it, lol.
But here is some good stuff:
I switched out one of the photos on my phone screen to this one I had favorited of Momo (left) and Poppy (right)! They are both dilute orange coats but Momo has more sage green eyes and Poppy has more yellow/amber. So cute!!!
Moppy is just Momo and Poppy squished together.
I'm at the part of this cross stitch where I'm just filling everything with the same thread (DMC 797, I think). You would think that this process goes by fast since I don't have to count stitches anymore but it is still slow-ish. Which Is A Good Thing.
But really it's because my thread only covers maybe like 50 stitches? So I spend a good portion having to re-thread my needle. Some people might think "oh use a longer thread" but that's also not a great option since there's a higher chance for the thread to twist onto itself and knot. Lol! Also I think I noticed I skipped some stitches.
According to my tracker I last worked on this on Monday. That makes sense since Tuesday is ffxiv reset day (aka chatting with friends on discord) and on Wednesday I was making bok choy soup as a side dish.
