2026 journaling pt 2
Before I get into journaling here’s current progress on part 3/9 of my cross stitch (FREEDOM SINCE I FINISHED IKKICON). I have learned that it is easier/more organized to do the confetti area before doing the larger 1-color swatches (which are more brain empty). I should finish this section this week. I'm about 145 hours in according to my time tracker.

MD Diary 2026
Last weekend I finally got around to working on my MD Diary Journal (I am behind!!)
This year one of my goals is to have more writing (and take more photos) to go along with my pages… I did have to catch up on 17 days worth of content. I’m using other journals to help aide my memory on what happened (more on this in the other logs).
I finished adding ALL the date stickers. This does make the journal thick already (lol) and I have to use a pencil board. I caved in and bought a new A5 pencil board from Jetpens.
I’m also doing a simple OOTD log at the bottom (Shirt, Bottom, Shoes). I had a more in depth closet tracker spreadsheet a couple years back but fell off of the habit of logging.

Hobonichi Weeks
Using my hobonichi weeks to track meals, reading progress (on some things) and random spending. I bought something last week and used cash this time… so I’m on a bit of a budget lol.
The outside looks really cute with stickers but the inside is more functional with my bad illegible handwriting.

6 Ring Binder
I bought some accessories for the binder (clear zip pouch and some pocket inserts) from the RayMay line (available on Jetpens). TBH I don’t know if I want to get another cover for this. We’ll see.
I think any pages I want “to save” can be taken out and collaged into my MD, otherwise this is more like a commonplace journal that should be purged regularly.
I did finish Atomic Habits so I need to compile those notes.
I also made new inserts - notebook inserts from a Rodia Dot Grid I bought in 2016 (wow!!), some Canson Bristol Paper that I bought in 2016, and colored printer paper in green from a home zine I made in 2016 for the cover. It feels meant to be that all of these papers are from 10 years ago…

Anyways, that is it! I have a short LA trip coming up this weekend to attend Atlus’s Persona Concert, so I am organizing my itinerary for that.
