ootd - jan + feb

I mentioned in my journal that I log my OOTD - for logging purposes I document my main outfit of the day and not ones I change into for events (not that I go to many if at all HA HA). I finally sat down to draw the clothing items and visually log them here.

Also this was my effort to have something drawn in February so I can have it in my 2026 art summary (2025 here, 2024 here, 2023 here).

I have several pajama sets/lounge sets I wear at home (I don't really track them) but I have a favorite one right now!! The blue stripy pajama set I have in a short sleeve button top, pants, and shorts (usually worn under the pants). I like to wear the shorts when sleeping but pants when I am lounging. I do have some non matchy stuff that are also my pambahay (house clothes)) but LOVE to wear a matching set. Sometimes if I have planned to stay at home but want to feel like something has changed I'll switch to another set.

I like seeing my repeated outfits b/c it means there's a formula that I work and like which takes off the mental load of choosing an outfit for the day.

Since it's getting warm a lot of cooler weather clothes will get packed away (bye bye 1/4 zip and crewneck sweaters). My long sleeve polos/tees will slowly transition out as well.

Fav outfit of Jan: Clearly the Fila 1/4 quarter zip + maroon turtleneck/sweatpant combo. This is a winter only cozy combo but doesn't feel sloppy/frumpy

Fav outfit of Feb: I guess not an oufit but the formula of button down + crop shirt + pants was a trend.

MVP Item: My black Bondi 8? Hokas - purchased in August of 2024 for the ANYC trip I took with my sister! Probably one of my comfiest everyday shoes - I think they were also the only shoe I packed for my DC/Otakon trip (in addition to the slides I brought for house shoes).

I have a runner up in my 1460 Docs... I'm almost certain I bought those in 2014 for a TCAF trip and they are still a regular in my closet.

The most un-me outfit is my feb 14/valentine's outfit. I wouldn't normally wear that sweater vest. I liked the outfit but it's not something I would think "oh yeah I should wear that again!"
